Generating a strategy brief from a canvas

Turn a filled-in canvas into a one-page strategy brief you can share. Premium feature.

Web appUpdated

A brief is a structured one-pager generated from one of your canvases: refined thought, options, recommendation, risks, and a 30/60/90 plan. You can export it as PDF and share it.

How to generate one

  1. Open any canvas with content in it.
  2. In the insight panel on the right, click Build Strategy Brief.
  3. The brief wizard runs a short multi-turn Q&A — it asks clarifying questions about the scenario, your priorities, and any constraints. Answer briefly; the wizard uses your answers to shape the final brief.
  4. After the last question, the brief renders. It takes 10–30 seconds depending on length.
  5. Edit any section inline. Changes save automatically.

What goes into a brief

  • Refined thought — your scenario sharpened into a decision statement
  • Issue tree — the sub-questions that need to be answered
  • Options — 2–4 candidate paths with effort / impact / confidence scores
  • Recommendation — the AI's pick, with reasoning and confidence level
  • Risks — what could go wrong, with probability × impact
  • 30 / 60 / 90 day plan — concrete tasks per window

Not every brief surfaces every section — the wizard skips ones that don't apply.

Premium feature

Brief generation is a Premium feature. Free accounts can read the wizard intro but need to upgrade to run it. See Pricing for tiers.

Export

Once generated, every brief has an Export PDF button in the header. The PDF uses a neutral layout suitable for sharing with stakeholders.

Where briefs live

Briefs appear in the Briefs sidebar tab, sorted by most recent. Each brief is linked back to the canvas it came from.
