Sign-in methods: Google, Apple, and email magic link

We support three sign-in methods, all passwordless. Here's how each works.

AccountUpdated

FrameworkList has no passwords. All sign-in is passwordless, via one of three methods:

1. Continue with Google

Click Continue with Google on the sign-in page. You'll be redirected to Google's consent screen. After approval, you're signed in and bounced back to the app.

We receive your email, display name, and profile photo URL. Nothing else.

2. Continue with Apple

Same flow as Google but routed through Apple. Available on both web and iOS.

On Apple's consent screen you can choose to share or hide your real email. Hiding gives us a relay address — that's fine; we use whichever is sent.

3. Email magic link

Click Use email instead on the sign-in page. Type your email and click Send magic link. Check your inbox for an email from FrameworkList (from [email protected] or similar), open the link, and you'll be signed in automatically.

The link expires after 1 hour. If you wait too long, request a new one.

Switching methods on the same account

The account is keyed to your email address. If you sign in with Google and later use email magic link with the same email, you'll land in the same account. Same for Apple.

If your Apple Hide-My-Email relay differs from your Google email, those are treated as different accounts. To merge, email [email protected].

Trouble signing in

  • Magic link email never arrives. Check spam. Wait 1–2 minutes. If still nothing, the email may be misspelled — request again with the correct spelling.
  • Google / Apple OAuth fails. Usually a browser cookie / popup blocker issue. Try in a fresh browser window with default settings.
  • Signed in but app shows "Loading…" forever. Refresh the page once. If it persists, sign out and back in.

Still stuck? Email support with the method you tried and the error message you saw.
